No matter how flabbergasting the trouble you find yourself in there is always hope.  Keep yourself open to marvelous things.  Friends, no matter what their shape or size make life’s journey peachy.

Orphaned thanks to a tragic rhinoceros incident, James moves in with his mean and miserable Aunt Spiker and Aunt Sponge.  Just when life with the aunts seems unbearable a mysterious stranger appears, presenting James with a bag containing more magic than there is in the whole rest of the world.  When, oops! James spills the bag near the old peach tree the real adventure begins.

With his new friends Centipede, Earthworm, Grasshopper, Ladybird and Miss Spider, James overcomes great obstacles.  Inside the giant peach James and friends embark on a fantastical journey across the Atlantic Ocean to America where they make their happy home in the pit of the peach right in the heart of New York city’s Central Park.
With a fiddle playing grasshopper, outbursts of song, Dahl’s musical language masterfully adapted for the stage by David Wood and a great story James and the Giant Peach is sure to delight.  Come get your taste of this fantastic peach.
