OFT’s YES! Program
YES! (Youth Enriched at School) is our after school theater program that brings trained teaching artists to your school to produce a play with your students. Rehearsals will take place on site for up to four weeks after school, culminating in a public performance for friends and family. You may charge tuition to participants and sell tickets and concessions at the performances as a fundraiser for the program.
- Your students perform at your location - in the cafeteria, gym, library or multi-purpose room.
- Your students will experience a performing arts program tailored to a particular age range: younger (preschool or K-2) or older (3-6) elementary students, or middle schoolers.
- Your students will be a part of an ensemble cast with opportunities for every student to have a “big” part.
- Prices and length vary depending on age group and type of production:
- Pre-K through 2nd grade: a 3 week program, 4 days per week costs $3500.
- Grade 3-6 or Middle School: a 4 week program, 4-5 days per week, costs $5800 for a non-musical production or $7000 for a musical.
- Your students will have a creative, positive and encouraging experience with the arts. Your parent group will help run this program under the leadership of our teaching artists. They will register kids, assist with costumes, props, marketing, collect tuition, and sell tickets and concessions at the performances. This can be a great fundraising opportunity for your school.
